John Staley

John's first WCT production was Pinocchio in 1988 when he was 11 years old. He performed in nine plays including 'Pinocchio', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'The Hobbit', Three Musketeers', 'Robin Hood', and 'Wizard's Crystal'. With the WCT he has directed 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Sleeping Beauty', and 'Pinocchio'. Running the light board has been his job for the past few years. He grew up in Walpole and to the College of the Holy Cross where he recieved a B.A. in math. Currently, he teaches Physics and Engineering at Doherty memorial High School in Worcester and also works part-time at Flagship Bank. John also coaches girls' soccer. He and his wife Kimberly live in Auburn, Ma. John enjoys production week because everyone involved comes together to work hard as a team to see the production through.
